PhD POSITION (ERC-funded)

IN CELL & MECHANOBIOLOGY OF PLATELETS & MEGAKARYOCYTES

16.04.2024

PhD POSITION (ERC-funded) IN CELL & MECHANOBIOLOGY OF PLATELETS & MEGAKARYOCYTES.

SHARE OUR PASSION.

Did you know that our bone marrow yields colossal cells that actively fragment into pieces?
These fragments tirelessly patrol our blood vessels, serving as a vital defense against bleeding.
Our mission is to unravel the fundamental principles driving these processes in health and
disease. Therefore, we use a multidisciplinary approach combining microengineering
techniques, genetics, advanced live cell imaging and intravital microscopy. Furthermore, we
assess the clinical significance of our discoveries in mouse models, as well as patient samples.
