PhD positions in the life sciences starting September 2022 – applications to IMPRS are now open
The current recruitment round for the IMPRS “From Molecules to Organisms” has been opened.
16.12.2021 – 06.02.2022
The International Max Planck Research School (IMPRS) “From Molecules to Organisms” program that is offered by the Max Planck Institute for Biology in collaboration with the Friedrich Miescher Laboratory and the Eberhard Karls University in Tübingen, Germany, has opened the current recruitment round for PhD-students starting in September 2022.
They aim to train the next generation of scientists to study complex biological processes that cannot be adequately understood within the limits of a single discipline. The challenging and innovative program bridges between diverse disciplines and several levels of biological organization.
Research fields covered include:
· Biophysics
· Biochemistry & structural biology
· Bioinformatics & computational biology
· Molecular & cellular biology
· Developmental biology & genetics
· Genomics & proteomics
· Microbiology and microbiome science
· Evolutionary biology & ecology
Application is available from 13 December 2021 to 6 February 2022
